During operation, the valve senses the pressure at the input end of the valve through the pressure relief valve to control the opening and closing of the valve. When the input pressure exceeds the set value, the valve opens quickly to maintain the pressure in the pipeline. After the pressure is released, the valve is closed slowly to prevent water hammer impact.
If the optional non-return feature is selected, when the reverse pressure is generated, the returned liquid will enter the upper air chamber, closing the valve and preventing the liquid from returning.
